The Renaissance Health Center Grounds

Culture change.  The Renaissance Health Center supports and respects autonomy, diversity and individual choice.  Residents are the experts regarding life in their home.  Deciding when to eat, take medication, or go to bed is up to each resident.  This philosophy makes our community a model for other long-term care providers.

Life enrichment.  How people spend their time and enjoy their lives is crucial to overall happiness.  Together, residents and staff craft activities that celebrate cycles of life and connect to the local community to continue relationships that nurture the quality of everyday life.

Individual households.  At The Renaissance Health Center, households are established to create a sense of community.  Each household includes a fully stocked kitchen open to residents 24 hours a day.  Open living spaces with cozy furniture and televisions are popular relaxation sports for reading or taking a nap.  Nursing services are readily available within each household so clinical needs are supported with efficiency and ease.

Personal caregivers.  Permanently assigned caregivers within each household know each resident personally, which results in recognizing the most subtle changes in condition or personality and addressing them immediately.  Household teams are composed of all areas of expertise, from nursing and therapy, to maintenance and activities.
